This is a excellent hotel. It is comfortable, family, nearby the times square and the of main attractions. You can walk some steps until metro 50th / 9 st. The hotel's staff is very friendly. I went with my family and with two kids(4 and 6 old) and we approved this place. There is a convenience store at the corner of the street very useful. The big tip is that you can arrive on this hotel from JFK by metro, through line E. You must get out at metro 50th / 9st and then walking some steps until the Hotel. ... The arrival is very easy and economic read hotel review

The Belvedere Hotel is well located in Midtown with easy access to subway, Times Square. The staff was friendly The room could be a little bigger and we had a problem with the heather and it took a while for the maintenance to fix it. In general is average. read hotel review

Hotel with great location, perfect starting point for sightseeing and nightlife. Rooms are not very large, but we could live well for 4 days as a four. The bathroom is modern and technically fine. Everything in the hotel was clean. In the house there is a good breakfast for 15 Dollars, we enjoyed it every day! Times Square, Rockefeller Center are within easy walking distance, 2 subway lines in 5 minutes' walk. The hotel also has a business center, though the use costs extra. The hotel has, however, 3 weaknesses - 1. the wireless internet does not work everywhere - ... didn't matter to me, when needed I went to the business center, since there it always worked, 2. on the corridor (not in the rooms) it 'smelt', then we always held our breath, 3. there are not many elevators, you have to wait - didn't matter to me, I stayed on the 2nd floor and as a trained sportsperson always used the stairs. read hotel review

On our first visit in the USA we made the first station New York. The travel agent recommended us the Belvedere hotel, as it was supposed to be very centrally located. We were curious, and everything worked out really well. The hotel is only about 15 minutes away from Times Square. The Rockefeller Center, the Central Park, the 5th. Ave., the big Broadway theaters. Everything is within walking distance. All shopping possible on foot. Hollister, abercrombie & Fitch, Hard Rock Café, American Eagle, Aeropostale or even Super Dry. All the shopping highlights are in the immediate vicinity. Now to the ... hotel: clean, neat room with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, if you get a room on the right side. Bathroom was not large, but well equipped and clean. In the room is a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave etc., if you want to quickly make yourself something warm. We had booked the room with breakfast. This is very recommendable. Breakfast is good, plentiful and very tasty. Worth it, before the busy day trip through New York. Front desk was always friendly and helpful. In the lobby there is a concierge service. Here you can order everything, from musical tickets to the taxis. Here we bought the tickets for the hop on hop off bus. This is a great way to explore New York, with German language in the headphones on the bus. You can get on and off, where there is always something to see. Conclusion: the hotel is a perfect fit for a multiple day trip to New York. Because of the central location (subway stations are directly in the vicinity) you quickly get to the highlights of New York. And you can quickly get to a cocktail in Times Square for the end of the day. You can book the hotel blindly. Everything fits! read hotel review

The rooms are relatively large and well appointed. That what i felt in ny already very experienced differently... I had a room in the 17. floor. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and coffee maker (coffee is available for free). The safe was in a small chamber building, with a door from the room corridor is separated. Here there is also a stool, to put your suitcase. The bathroom with bath is relatively small, but for a person at the time adequate. Through the long hallway in the room you couldn't hear any noise from the hallway was. For new york standards the room was very quiet, even if you from outside was always a buzz hear, but you're in the city, those never sleep...

  • Location
    6.0

The hotel location was ideal, to the Times Square it is 5 minutes to foot, the Central Park about 10 minutes and to 5th Avenue circa 10-15 minutes a metro station is in 3-5 minutes walking distance in the 50./ corner 8. the street. From the Penn Station (connection to Newark) there are only 2 stations.

  • Gastronomy
    4.0

There was the possibility, to eat breakfast at the hotel. You can do, but you didn't have to... The breakfast room is large, and windowless. The offer in form of a buffet gets you in ny at nearly each corner for the same price and even better, tip: the Pigalle at the corner of 48./8. street.

  • Service

The service is good. Problems were quickly and easily fixed. One evening my tv did not work. The mistake was the same night resolved. The hotel staff is always friendly and courteous. There was a concierge in the lobby.
