The staff was always friendly. The hotel manager and a bar staff speak German. Other staff in the pool and dining area speak English. The cleaning women are not quite sure we believe but just Greek. When we moved to the room it was cleaned everyday, but wasn't swept the first 3 days and no towels and bed sheets changed.
