The hotel is clearly recommended blue sky! In the hotel there were mostly families and a few young people, to celebrate at the gold beach the came (and I was). The hotel is in a quiet location, yet it is not far from the nightlife, but it is a bit of a walk to the beach, than we thought (good ten minutes). On the whole we were satisfied with our vacation. However, the food at the hotel was unfortunately not to our taste at all. But the restaurants outside of the hotel was very good. (tasty and reasonably priced). The beach is not in the immediate vicinity and you had to for beach chairs, umbrellas and cushions to be paid extra. Location
The hotel is located about 300 m from the beach, close to the resort centre with its restaurants, pubs and shops. There is a bus station and a railway station in Varna, around 20 km away. Nearby places of interest include the Aladzha Monastery (around 4 km), Varna Dolphinarium (around 17 km) and Varna Cathedral (around 20 km away). The nearest airports are Varna (20 km), Burgas (around 120 km) and Plovdiv (around 360 km away).
Facilities
Renovated in 2007, the beach hotel is ideally situated in a quiet area in the popular Golden Sands resort. It consists of 77 units, spread on 4 floors. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Additional facilities at this air-conditioned club resort include a currency exchange desk, children's playground, Internet access and safety deposit boxes at the reception. For a fee, those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel car park. The hotel combines comfortable facilities with warm hospitality and excellent service to ensure a pleasant stay.
Rooms
All rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and en suite with a shower, bath and WC. Facilities also include a telephone, satellite TV, a mini fridge, air conditioning and a balcony.
Sports/Entertainment
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area and poolside snack bar. The sun terrace provides sun loungers and parasols free of charge. There is also an Internet room, and for a fee guests can enjoy a game of billiards or table tennis. Sun loungers and parasols are available for a fee at the sandy beach.
