A wonderful, absolutely recommendable pousada in the middle of the old town Evora, some has retained its medieval Charme. Small streets to shape the picture of the world heritage city of Evora. Location
This historical hotel is located in the heart of the historical centre of Evora, a city classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Templo Romano de Diana roman temple, Igreja dos Lóios church, the gothic cathedral, the city walls and Saint Francis Church are all within walking distance. Lisbon Portela Airport is approximately 130 km from the hotel.
Facilities
The hotel was originally a convent and is one of Évora's most precious architectural buildings. In 1965, the convent opened its doors as a historical luxury hotel. The former cells of the Cónegos Regrantes (the faithful congregation) were converted into 36 luxuriously decorated rooms, each unique from one another. This air-conditioned hotel features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a bar and a restaurant.

All rooms offer an en suite bath with shower/bathtub, a hairdryer, a double or king-size bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar and a fridge. Air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a safe are included.
