We were three days guest in the hotel and found the stay as very pleasant.
The staff were always friendly and the hotel is in a good and clean state.
There are several excursions and through the direct access from bus and train
(the train station is only a few meters away from the hotel, but you can hear the noise from trains and buses/cars) to without a car the area to explore.
The center is only few minutes on foot away.
The Therme Erding is also easy to get to. (drive about 10 minutes, also a bus drives.) … read more

This hotel is unfortunately not recommended, unfriendly, not competent and well-trained staff of the day. Food was very bad, but that the hotel 4 star, the question is what are the 4 stars? Very expensive for little money! The only good is the train station directly opposite and you quickly and easily in Munich is, but that is no performance of the kastanienhofes. The place Erding but very nice, but also the no merit of kastanienhofes. … read more

The staff's hospitality also left to be desired. Staff after complaining reasonably friendly but before you a good morning gets, is only after dr room number. The cleaning of the room is in my opinion from beds and superficial cleaning.Unfortunately i cannot to this hotel not much good to say. From the outside the whole completely acceptable from, that was it but then already. The rooms see on the first glance clean but after closer inspection we noticed some faults. the hotel is a bit getting old. By direct Situation to the suburban train munich and a relatively short taxi ride to the airport also very central.
