wanted but not

I will book this hotel (unfortunately) regularly work. For breakfast, the selection was quite large, but not of a very high standard. After the two times in a row I moldy fruit (beware of the sliced Kiwis, which seems to be so often presented, until it finally is someone), had lodged a complaint, I am in the meantime only one roll with some packaged Nutella, the rest is suspect. 4 star, but for what?

On the zimmerfluren receives a a odor, which also in the room still is. The furniture ugly, color and are not fit together ancient. If you surface of the closets, tables etc. affected, sticky fingers feast. In the bathroom see regarding uncleanliness to detail. Dirty surfaces, dust and grime lingual everywhere. As prospective business regular of the hotel i received today at 10:00 o'clock a call from mr hemp from the front desk the question, if everything is okay, as i the hotel not as usual at 7:30 noon had. He couldn't know, that i today not had to work. A similar, liebvollen and worried call i received previously by mrs fritzsche, also front desk, when i later to the airport had. We were there for the 2. time. Everything was great except for the check in for the room. At our arrival we were told, that we between 13 and 14 hours the room received. A business hotel of the lower middle class. Over 50-years-old, it shows. Restaurant area dark and impersonal. Tagungsbereiche kanpper average. Nothing, which the stay unforgettable would make. Cleanliness nevertheless very good. Room service overburdened? (room was at 13:30 o'clock not yet cleared up.) We were also with feride-travel for one night in the Park Inn in Dortmund. The hotel itself was ok (from smaller flaws as a remote control with uncovered batteries, a broken lamp... Apart). What really bothered us, was, that it in the room on arrival was freezing and also not large has changed, despite a fully aufgetreter heating, because the room is too high. In the bathroom was it was not much better, there was not any heating, only a heat lamp on the ceiling, one continuously even turns off and to the other anyway not really for warmth. The final phase of renovations at the Park Inn by Radisson Dortmund has been completed: all 125 guest rooms and a section of the public areas have a bright new look now. In 2009, the first 30 accommodations and the lobby already got a facelift. In January 2011, the conversion of another 30 guest rooms as well as three conference rooms followed. In the past weeks, the remaining 65 guest rooms have been renovated. All of the guest rooms are presenting bright colours and warm earthy tones. The new features include modern furniture, velour wall-coverings, stylish lamps, new carpets and materials as well as replaced beds and mattresses. The last phase of renovation also includes the renovation of the gym, which will be equipped with professional equipment until the end of August. Furthermore, two more confernce rooms have been transformed. New carpets, materials, new wall paintings in bright and friendly colours as well as new lighting and seating provide a pleasant confence ambience. Park Inn by Radisson Dortmund, September 2011

This attractive hotel is situated within 300 m from links to the public transport network. The nearest nightclubs and bars are merely 1 km away and there is a park around 3 km from the hotel.
Facilities
Renovated in 2002, this hotel is spread over 5 floors and comprises 125 rooms of which 18 are suites. Facilities on offer include a spacious lobby with a reception desk and a bar. A air-conditioned restaurant serving excellent cuisine may be enjoyed within the hotel. A public Internet terminal and a conference room are also made available to guests, as is a laundry service. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park.

The stylish rooms include a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bidet as well as a direct dial telephone, an Internet connection, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar, air conditioning, central heating, a double or king-size bed and a balcony or terrace.
