For a short stay the hotel is ok. We stayed three nights there, that was enough. The grounds are very nice and the nearby lake also. The beach chairs and towels at the pool were already very worn out and also the bungalows may use a renovation. In the room, there was no storage space. Drawers were not available, and in the wardrobe there is no possibility to hang up something, since in the mid-a board is appropriate. It is not much against insects in the room done. I have some spinnenbisse closed, even after my return still medically to ... be dealt with. Also the room was cleaned only superficially. In the dining room, it was always very full and loud, because the tour groups all at the same time food. The offer of the food is the same every day. The quality is not very high and the staff poorly trained. The hotel was by the travel agent, we personally would not choose it. Bewertung lesen

The hotel has 90 bungalows. When arriving with drums welcome. The body of the hotel is in the front desk, including the bar and under the restaurant divided. These stufenaufbau we found very nice. The restaurant is open to the lake, very close to nature overlooking birds, squirrels and lizards. Everything seemed very clean and neat. We had booked half board. Guest structure was international, because it as rundreisenhotel used. The bungalows are in the huge yard, the way in the central area can a few minutes. Bewertung lesen

The food in the mornings and evenings there was as a buffet arranged. This was beautifully decorated, very tasty and varied. Especially in the evening, we have the food really enjoyed. One point of criticism there is only, that we 2 times from the nice open restaurant were being relocated and dark conference room, had to eat, because in the restaurant a wedding party. The curtains were extra closed, so that you not to open restaurant down could watch. The dining room we found not nice.

Perfect location the sights of interest as sigiriya, dambulla, polonnaruwa and the n. p. minneriya to visit. On the way from the coast we have the elephant orphanage visited, on the way back the botanical garden in kandy. Who kandy closer to see wants, should definitely a night to take into account, because the distance not so far, but the roads narrow and much traffic from tuk tuk, buses and lorries, so took a 80 kilometer drive right time 2,5 hours we have the hotel with a car with driver booked, what a very good solution is to get a feel for the country.

The rooms are huge with a seating area, nice bed and decent bathroom. Unfortunately it at our time to heavy rain and probably this the rooms very bad stinky, even in well-known in the other room. You could not enjoy, because you just not feel more comfortable. Also the paths to the restaurant are very far, although the garden very nice and well-kept and you always something to see.

We were as a part of a round trip for two nights at amaya lake building. The spacious and very well maintained parklike setting resort is located on the man-made lake. The numerous rooms are in single bungalows and were for our taste very attractively furnished. Particularly to mention is the exceptionally affectionate flower arrangements on the bed. The guest structure: mixed, all nationalities, predominantly pairs. Bewertung lesen

Breakfast and dinner were as a buffet offered. Presentation and selection was very appealing – particularly the direct to prepare individual expenses really impressed us. For who wants it can also local dishes! By the way : in the evening there was a local fötenspieler -very romantic. Beware: open-air restaurant, don't forget your mosquito protection!

The hotel lies at a large reservoir. Especially in the morning and evening you can the zaubervolle countryside. After dambulla, sigiriya, and polonnaruwa are only a couple of minutes per tuk tuk – the hotel is therefor ideal starting point for round trips. Direct around the hotel there is, however, only a few to explore.
