    This elegant luxury hotel enjoys a central situation close to the casino and the shopping street. This hotel enjoys fantastic views from its location at an altitude of 567 m between the Lake of Brienz and Lake Thun, within walking distance of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as within easy reach of a lively promenade. The hotel is over 130 years old and is characterised by exquisite elegance. The nearest train station is easily reached around 1 km away, Bern airport is roughly 50 km away and Zurich airport is around 150 km away.
  • Facilities
    Built in 1864, this luxurious establishment comprises a total of 227 rooms spread over 4 floors, which includes 53 suites. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with a reception desk, lifts, café, shops, boutique and hairdressers. The hotel also offers 2 bars, La Terrasse gourmet restaurant (16 points in the Gault Millau restaurant guide), La Pastateca restaurant and the Jungfrau Brasserie with a terrace (weather permitting). There is a public Internet terminal available for use. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park or the garage for an additional charge 15,-€ per day. Furthermore, there is a kids' club for younger guests (4 to 10 years of age) as well as a playground in the hotel grounds. The hotel is a member of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels.

    The modern rooms feature a bathroom with hairdryer and bathrobe, a separate toilet, separate shower, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a minibar/ fridge, a hire safe and a seating area.

    Guests are offered an indoor swimming pool (with outdoor pools) and a sun terrace in the hotel grounds. In addition, a health spa is also a feature with a Jacuzzi, a sauna, solarium, a steam room, massage service on request and further treatments in the Clarins beauty centre for an added fee, such as physiotherapy, a Finnish sauna and organic sauna with active light therapy.
