We were with our family and friends for a extended weekend in wein/langenlois guests and the whole stay over felt really good. From the check-in until the check out everything was right! Our booked room of the category 'prestige' were very clean and equipped with all the comforts. The friend who travelled with us dog one thought. This found in the room already a ceiling, bowls, etc. Before. Very attentive! The breakfast was every morning, rich and Geschma …  read hotel review

The selection of food was poor. The prices for example for a wine tasting rude for example 3 sorts of wine for 35 €per person. 188.00 Euro for the night per person m. F. Is for the offer too high. I had the impression, the hotel lives off of your bargain offer wochendurlaub to the flat rate. The furniture in the rooms are below IKEA level …  read hotel review

Very friendly front desk, rooms spacious with view to the vineyard; we booked a 4 - course dinner with a package including weinbegleitung - excellent cuisine! The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it was really a huge selection with a very good quality. The sauna area has unfortunately no possibility of fresh air - so the temperature of the room was absolutely no perfect. All in all - a nice weekend - ideal for 2 days, or for a longer stay we would as wellnesshotel't choose this hotel. read hotel review

The decor is (the bathroom except) from all cheapest - just 2 star, if at all. Sichtbetonwände, a remarkably favorable solution for the lighting and almost embarrassing the low-end furniture included schwankwand. As would be setting up the money ran out... Which at the very ambitious prices do not understand. Who wants to only stay overnight (without spa) - there are better offers. read hotel review

Totally quiet, the beach chairs are great for a small nap - the pool was for me personally a bit too cool. Very extensive breakfast, definitely something for everyone. Super friendly staff! read hotel review

The wein in langenlois offers a great service, no matter, whether at the reception, room, bar or restaurant. Unfortunately, the spa not this high standard. The outdoor pool is for the winter too cool, inside there is no possibility to swim, no jacuzzi... Sonnengehen find no exit free or a plunge pool. The rooms radiate because of the scant interior design and furnishing little feel-good factor from. read hotel review

We were 3 days to relax in the wein. We felt very comfortable. From the front desk, to the bar, the restaurant and the spa with the spa everything was to our fullest satisfaction. The staff was very attentive and courteous, well trained and very professional. The room was functional, as the architecture reduced to the essence. No unnecessary frills, is a little getting used to at first, but by the use of colour and lighting design works it very comfortable. Food is excellent, just recommended as the spa. We probably-felt very much and thank you for 3 wonderful days ... in your house. read hotel review

Business hours of reception Close to the world famous cultural heritage "Wachau" and only a 50 minute drive by car from Vienna, there is the "place to be" for all who want to enjoy culture, art and wine in its most comfortable form. The LOISIUM Wine & Spa Resort Langenlois in Lower Austria offers an innovative hotel and spa experience. Wine plays a vital role, and is reflected in the fine cuisine as well as in the spa of the LOISIUM Hotel. All 82 rooms and suites were designed by the American star architect Steven Holl with his characteristic abstract individuality. Timeless sensuality with a touch of eccentric attitude and fascinating detailed sense of style, define a new architectural elegance. Forms, colours, material, and furniture - nothing was left to cliché. From the gel door knob right out of the workshop of a Milanese gel manufacturer to the especially designed "Holl" wardrobe, to the bed and armchair constructed by the well-known Wittmann furniture workshops according to designs by Steven Holl. All rooms have large, open baths, partially with views of the vineyard, full air conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite programs, free high speed Internet connections, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. The exterior of the hotel is avant-garde. Designed by Steven Holl, it rises futuristically yet unobtrusively against the backdrop of the surrounding idyllic vineyards. Holl has designed both the vanguard exterior facade and the entire interior design. The result is a building which combines earthy colours, especially-designed furniture in extraordinary styles, unusual materials and views of the adjacent vineyards from almost all the rooms. The interior of the building also reflects the interplay between nature and modernity. Pure enjoyment - this is what all aspects of the LOISIUM Hotel are about. The hotel is positioned in the upscale 4-star category. The new and elegant wine & spa cuisine pampers the palate. The range of health treatments, too, has been developed specifically for the hotel. Aveda, a globally successful specialist in beauty and natural cosmetics with Austrian roots, has created distinctive spa treatments and wine therapies for LOISIUM guests. These use the powers of wine for a highly effective invigoration. The scent of wine combined with the SECRETS of a new SPAexperience… Business hours of reception: Every day: from 00:00 to 00:00

Hotel description

  • What the hotel offers
It's an innovative concept: a hotel and spa for wine-lovers with an outstanding architectural approach. Set amid rolling vineyards in Austria's most popular white-wine region and just opposite of the famous LOISIUM Wine World, which is built over an underground labyrinth of 900-year-old wine cellars, the Loisium Hotel, designed by American architect Steven Holl, seems to float on pillars and glass. From the light fixtures in the restaurant to the lobby staircase, wine & cork is part of the hotel's design and space. The 82 guestrooms feature the wine theme and another widely used motif throughout the hotel: a map of the cellars. Airy rooms have large windows overlooking vineyards and the wonderfully rural lifestyle of the surrounding villages. The hotel has a lovely all-year heated outdoor swimming pool, and guests can indulge in a full array of Aveda spa treatments in an award-winning spa. They can also sample intriguing local treatments involving grape and wine products before settling down to a wine-themed meal in the spectacular restaurant. Another main attraction is a trip to the educational (and Holl-designed) wine center next door for individual wine tasting in the wine shop or participating in wine seminars. Don't miss one of the trekking tours through the lovely surrounding vineyards or a visit of the Danube valley with its monasteries and old castles ( UNESCO world heritage area ). Cheers.
