Radisson Blu Hotel Alesund^{(4 stars)}

The hotel is fantastic location, especially for the price Hurtigruten-lovers (you can directly on the pier look, where the ships and is 3 minutes away on foot there). Service, friendliness and willingness to help of the staff were excellent. Breakfast is typical Norwegian - wide choice and of a very good quality ( up to the scrambled eggs and the croissants). The rooms are however already getting old. The walls have a new paint sorely needed and the shower cabin in the bathroom is awful ( Überflutungsgefahr and dingy).
