• What the hotel offers
  The Illa d’Or, founded in 1929, is a hotel which still maintains the authentic classical style from yonder. Situated in placid Puerto Pollença, where one can experience the sensation of beauty which has served as inspiration to a multitude of yesterday’s and todays’s artists and writers. At the Illa D’Or, the sky and the sea are a gentle carress, dusk is a symphony of colours and night, whilst on the terrace and contemplating the moon reflection in the sea, one realises that it is one of the most beautiful areas, not only in Mallorca, but possibly, in the world.
• Location
  The hotel has the 'Q' for Quality designation. We are also members of the prestigious association of "Reis de Mallorca - Hotels with character". Located on the seafront in the Bay of Pollensa, it enjoys an outstanding location 1,500 m from the centre of Puerto Pollensa, where visitors will find a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop at 50 m with buses to all the main points on the island. It is 65 km from the airport, about 45 minutes by car. On leaving the airport visitors should take the motorway as far as exit no. 3 (Andratx- Port d´Alcudia), Exit 3 B towards Alcudia, and once off the motorway take the turnoff to Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa
