Everything is great here: very well maintained building in the colonial style, tastefully designed room, top clean bathroom, very friendly and competent staff. Airport shuttle is offered. For emergencies is it even a doctor service of the hotel! … read more

Great hotel in the heart San Jose's we stayed here for 2 times 2 nights. In between we have various round trips made. Our main baggage we could easy here
The capital Costa Ricas is not too big, so you from the hotel everything to reach on foot can.
The restaurant is very recommendable. Not cheap, but great quality.
Free wi-fi and free laptop are available.

We took part in a 3-week vacation 2 nights in Grano de Oro. In San Jose there are basically not that much to see and we have due to the short stay no experiences with the activities of the hotel made, therefore I have the situation and environment, as well as the leisure facilities not rated. The hotel itself is however a really very great hotel with beautiful Atmosphere and very good service. If I return to San Jose I would certainly take the Grano de Oro.
