The hotel was located Fantastically beautiful in the middle of the vineyards of chianti, surrounded by olive groves out of the way. If you're looking for peace, so you would think, this is the place to stay, if not always events at the hotel would be! Time your wedding, birthday and once a siege of about 50 Sven, a 1-week stay the the who had booked. They drank alcohol constantly, blocked the otherwise good and quick service at the hotel and take by the pool and in the rooms so, that one could not sleep. Had the Junior suite with a huge bathroom and a small kitchen area.
A very good first impression made. The bed turned out to be rather uncomfortable, the bath and plumbing fixtures are already in the years come. Nevertheless, we have felt comfortable us. The dinner (a manageable à la carte with many regional offered) was spectacular! We had booked half board-very recommended. The resort with great pools offers a beautiful view on the landscape. This fantastically located hotel is almost perfect! The room are very comfortable and clean. The location is hard to beat landscape and has a fantastic view of a huge valley.
The dinner at the restaurant is very high quality, but the menu changes and not the number of dishes in a longer stay is very well arranged and onesided. Also the breakfast buffet is always the same, no fresh sliced fruit (instead brown bananas or a whole pineapple), no scrambled eggs.
