We were 10 days end of May 12 in Hotel Castille, had a really beautiful and relaxed vacation. Welcome we got a fruit plates. Clean, well kept rooms, bathroom with bathtub, the toilet was extra. From the outside the hotel is promising, but this is deceptive! The staff partially very unfriendly, the food very monotonous sometimes also spoiled. The rooms only superficially cleaned and everything with the same cloth, the beach was not clean and the water full seaweeds( it stank after verfaultem ) entertainment was every day and evening the same and also very, very loud! In September/ October only pool vacation possible. Beach full of black seaweed or similar. Was in 14 days only cleaned once. We could in 14 days only at about 5 days into the sea. Pool at the hotel however large and quite empty, since at this time the hotel only with about 100 guests was occupied. Audience at this time international. Little German, a few Swiss, a few French, a few Tunisians, more Eastern European (Czech and so on) and many from Libya. Contrary to all negative reviews is the Djerba Castille a wonderful hotel with excellent food.
I have traveled a lot in my lifetime and so a lot of seen. I am gundsätzlich the opinion, that people, everywhere something to moan about have, stay at home should, if the local circumstances not wish to or cannot.
For the pollution of sea water are not the hotel staff responsible, they do all in their power, the algae to eliminate. For sure it is a pity that this verschmutzungsproblem on Djerba there, you could otherwise really my, a beach in Karibik to find, so nice … read more
