Great location in the heart of Madrid. Many sights easy to reach on foot. The subway station in 20 meters from the hotel. The littler quite old, need repair. But we were with our unusual room satisfied. It was round! The bathroom was very spacious and had a balcony. Despite the flaws ( thin uncomfortable pillows, no air conditioning, no kettle and mugs in the room), we felt remarkable! Because behind the windows the poignancy noisy atmosphere Madrid's was :-) the staff were lazy and not talkative... My stay in this hotel was very short, only one night, because we had to just spend a night in Madrid between flight. We arrived late and left the hotel early in the morning. We chose this lodging because it was conveniently located in the city center and close to Plaza Cibeles, from where buses run to the airport around the clock. Moreover we booked it with significant discount through one of the booking websites. At hotel`s own website rates were not so attractive. If you only looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the city, then this is just right. The condition of the hotel is rather dated and moderate, but clean. We had a room with a view to the backyard (about 25 sqm). Since we were there in the 1 . Our room had floor, we hardly saw the natural light. But who needs light in your room, if it in Madrid so much to see and do! : -) about the food, facilities, ect. we can't say, but we did not use it. … read more

The hotel Asturias is located in Calle Seville, close to the Puerta del Sol, the heart of Madrid in Spain and at the same time. It is already here also to the main argument for this hotel, so you can from the hotel many attractions, restaurants and bars to walk away. The metro stations are also not Seville Sol and far from the hotel. The hotel itself is older construction, made a clean and well-kept impression. The friendliness of the staff was non-existent. Not the reception breakfast the staff knew the simplest politenesses got. "Hello, please and thank you in the language of the staff not before. pretty basis is at least available at the reception. The room service was a bit superficial, since our predecessors still the trash in the room. There was a breakfast room and a kind of bar in the lobby, which also offered tapas.
