The staff was very accommodating.The staircase rocht unfortunately constantly after smoke.Extensive menu card. Requirement and quality of the dishes but further apart.You hear all the noises from the adjoining rooms and the corridor. The baths are partly a disgrace and must be urgently renewed.No parking. Friendly and helpful staff; room sufficient; to the danube side also loudA small hotel; international guests, well-kept.Breakfast buffet rich; much packaged goods unfortunately; supplies rather hesitant; a bit more freshly prepared courses may be offered; for example salads, roast slices, fresh quark; food at lunch by day ticket; evenings à la carte fine price; terrace with danube view room very nice ;, evenings are ceilings available; nearby are also very good places to find ( Padua-italians, couch-café for great steaks, old town-grill for Doner in between; Rhodos - delicious greek...). Hotel Restaurant am Paulusbogen is set in the heart of Passau, which is known as the City of Three Rivers, and comprises a hotel, a restaurant and a café. This establishment is a jewel in the hotel and gastronomy sector. The traditional hotel was run under the name of Zum König by the Vrbnjak family until the end of 2008 and today presents itself as a new hotel offering tasteful accommodation in a pleasant atmosphere to business and leisure travellers. The cosy single and double rooms are modernly and tastefully furnished and provide a magnificent panoramic view of the Danube, the Veste Oberhaus fortress and of the Old Town, as does the restaurant. Guests are of course still welcome to dine excellently at Hotel Restaurant Am Paulusbogen. The hotel’s central position at the Paulusbogen gate amid the Old Town allows easy access to all sights.
