The hotel is like a small village laid out, with small houses with 10-12 living areas (ground floor and 1st floor) and small ponds, in which one flamingos, peacocks and südameriknaische ducks looks. The whole complex is with a beautiful flora stocked. There are 2 areas : Tropical and caribe. You can Tropical residents but as everything use as the caribe residents! Beautiful extensive plant the clean well-kept. The distance to the restaurant in the evening is a welcome walk. Since i was already for the 5. year in a row in this hotel was know me the staff well and were always, if i am going back. read hotel review

Beautiful all-inclusive facility in a very well-kept garden on a gorgeous beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Great evening shows and live music. Gabi club you should book. read hotel review

Over the christmas holidays until the beginning of january enjoyed the stay. Very friendly staff in the whole area, always endeavor everything clean and in order to hold. The kitchen is highly recommended, everything was present in sufficient quantity, no matter, whether on the beach (breakfast and lunch) or on the market place. Service very nice and mostly also competent. Around new year's day it was a little crowded, so short waiting periods until a table was free, but easily. Rooms are very clean, sometimes there are some usage, but in the vacation one is the least amount of time ... in the room. The beach area was cleaned every morning by the seaweed cleaned and between the beach chairs was constantly staff traveling around everything purely to hold. Couches are sufficiently present, towels could one each day again on the beach. Security also on the beach, not disturbing, as all were very friendly and helpful. With something english and spanish comes one well, german is hardly spoken. Pool was always clean, we actually didn't use it, since we were mostly at the beach were. Transport in the extensive plant by constantly driving diesel locomotives or golf cart. The beach is also within a few minutes walking distance. Guests from all over the world, mainly americans, canadians, spaniards some german and also a few russians. And all are-) We really enjoyed our stay We are coming again-) read hotel review

This huge and very well-kept complex has 1138 guestrooms. The guest structure consisted mainly of americans and south americans, some europeans and russians. The area by bimmelbahn be visited. To foot gordian, you need a half a day. The rooms were very clean, the restaurants and buffets have a beautiful impression. Unfortunately it was in our room due to the high humidity and the location on the ground floor smelled very moldy.     Rooms at the caribe area were huge! We wanted to be room on the beach front, as the small grown over garden with a daybed have, unfortunately, there was nothing available. We had a room on the ground floor of the Gabi pool and it a bit regret not to the floor changed to have, as here probably less mosquitoes were and the circulation something a little better. Also one should pay attention to the pool side to sleep, so that you the absolute peace. Our 2. room was a little musty smell, that could one however with the air conditioning system to handle. The room consisted of a circa 50 square meter large living room with kitchenette and television. The bedroom had a secluded jacuzzi and sink and an extra bathroom and a balcony. Everything was very neat and clean. We had a once a cockroach in the room, but this was not more and i think that in such a country not to avoid. At the kitchen no utensils except for a coffee maker with powder, powdered milk, sugar, a bit to eat and a always brimming filled refrigerator (Cola, Fanta, beer, water). Also welcoming present on the dining room table.

    There was a main restaurant with buffet in the Tropical area, a lot of theme restaurants and in the dining area Gabi bar. The main restaurant we didn't like it, the selection was huge, but due to the number of people, the daily returns, too noisy, and the servers were partially completely overstrained. The food in the theme restaurants was delicious, drawback was however the hallenflair, unfortunately in all restaurants was. The lady, the tables assigned, was also partly swamped with the reservations, in the restaurant it was freezing. For all this however the Gabi restaurant made up for that, but only for guests staying in the royal service is. There was one buffet or à la carte food and everything was very good and fresh. The waiters super nice, friendly and fast, as well as the local bar. We never had to wait. The Gabi restaurant is very open and nice. It was always wonderful to incense ' the Gabi essence' and you can the bar in the sand at tables or sit within the hotel very nice restaurants. The breakfast buffet and the food are very american style aligned, but you can find something for every taste. During our stay was on the beach a 'adults only' restaurant opened, but still could not be used. Very stylish decor, in a very cool ambience with plenty of design and vip factor!

    The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Only at the check-in it can happen, that one eternally to wait, if several people arrive. Runs there everything was a bit uncoordinated and not german. Our rooms were 2 times daily are cleaned and the beds made, towels 2 times changed.

    The pool at the caribe area was very nice. Above all there is there nice daybeds, in which it is during a short rain or blazing sun bear. Unfortunately, they were already early in the morning from the staff for a tip or the guests reserved. To the other pools i cannot say anything, since we were mainly at the beach. The very nice and clean. A few daybeds and the beach chairs were a bit uncomfortable and sometimes very worn out. But there is a spot in the shade and the pool chairs were then evenly replaced. The beach at the Tropical area was too crowded and noisy, as there is with some hour is music and dancing going on.

    Distance to the airport is 30 kilometer - we drove with the taxi. The taxis have fixed prices, so there is no problem with prices and/or communication. Right next to the area there was a small shopping center, which completely nice things offers. The shops in the complex itself ask extortionate prices! As soon as one outside of the beach is, the locals and they want massages, knick-knacks and souvenirs sell. But they are very nice and were not rude either. There were also a few nice bars directly at the port to the hotel. Otherwise the bavaro beach was naturally lined with huge resorts.

The hotel is with distance one of the largest installations, which i up to now saw. The condition, and the cleanliness were perfect. The hotel was a pure all inclusive hotel. In the lobby, as well as in certain room categories (for example, romance suite), there is free wi-fi. The room safe costs 2 American Dollar per day. There is an upgrade to the royal service for 40 American Dollar per day per person, which we did not use however. Check-out time is 12:00 a. m. Per verlängerungsstunde the hotel requires per room 15 American Dollar. This price is ... reasonable, especially, if the transfer only against evening, since all services continue to use. The hotel is divided into two parts, Tropical and caribe. We stayed in the caribe part. Tropical is rather for families. Due to the size of the area the paths are partly a bit longer. We needed from lobby/restaurants to our room about 15 minutes to foot. To the beach and pool was not even 1 minute. There are 3 small lanes, which in a distance of about 20 minutes drive. For the royal service there was an extra shuttle service. We can only recommend to walk, since the area beautifully laid out. There is a wide variety of birds and animals to see.     We had like already mentioned a romance suite, which was in the caribe part of was. There are 12 rooms in a bungalow. On the ground floor with a garden and a sunbathing area, on the top floor with a balcony and beautiful rattan furniture. Around the garden are both plants, which the view in the room impossible, so that one also in the ground floor of his privacy. The room is equipped with a mini bar (free of charge), jacuzzi, double shower, flat screen, coffee maker, a sun umbrella and iron. The room was beautiful and huge.

    There are 4 buffet restaurants (grill restaurant turey, grill Agora, market place, gaurapo ), wherein the market place the main restaurant was. The turey and Agora are located on the beach. There is also 10 theme restaurants, of which 2 not all-inclusive, the hokkaido (japanese) and steak & lobster. The other 8 - Capri (fish ), El Guarapo (dominican), le gourmet (international), hacienda (mexican), la pagoda (thai), la gondola (italian), ma maison (french) and american grill are all-inclusive. , but you have to reserve a table. This can be by computer to the reservation in the lobby or in the ' handtuchhaus' or on the guest service make. Especially delicious was the hacienda, here we were even twice. The quantity in the market place is outstanding, but sometimes the quality is affecting. The food is not quite warm and there is no certain spice, but definitely everyone in its taste and is more than enough. The cleanliness and hygiene one cannot suspend anything. The atmosphere especially in the market place is somewhat kantienmäßig, but still nice. Very nice we found the grill Agora on the beach, since one here early and lunch good food with an even better view could be enjoyed. Sometimes lunch also right on the beach a beach with freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs set up. On the beach you could for small prices cocktails directly from the pineapple and coconut, (circa 4a 9 American Dollar). There was also 10 bars. 2 directly at the two large pools, one at the beach and the other in the lobbies. Our favourite bar was the avenue bar. Good music, great bartender and better cocktails. Tip has sadly no better value, except for the bartender.

    The friendliness of the staff was very different. Especially front desk, the gardener and the barkeeper were very friendly, the waiters and the cleaning staff only partially. Even with tips were not friendly or courteous. The national language is spanish, but you could get by with english also good. German is not understood or spoke. The room cleaning was a bit superficial, but in these countries usually is. In the hotel there was a doctor with practice, which 24 hours is available. (price is charged extra, auslandsreisekrankenversicherung ). There is also a child care, which we did not use however (couples), and currency exchange, gift shops (2 times), laundry.

    There are various activities such as beach volleyball, Tennis and water sports offered. Inventive ghosts their moneys worth in the 'flip flops themselves'. There is also a casino, kids club and animation shows. Here we can say anything about it. The beach chairs on the beach are a bit older and worn out, the at the pool were new and very comfortable. There are two large pools, one on the Tropical and one on the caribe side. The beach is beautiful. There are plenty of umbrellas and 'reserve' is not necessary, since there were enough available.

    The journey from Punta Cana International Airport the hotel is approximately 25 minutes. Directly before the hotel there is a nice shopping mall (Palma Real shopping Village), which however was rather expensive. For urlaubsandenken are the prices okay, but clothing is more expensive than in Germany. In this mall is also a disco, the 'transportation's jewel'. There are still very many excursions, such as manati park (admission 20 American Dollar for 2-12 years, 35 American Dollar adults, 125 American Dollar swimming with dolphins ), Dolphin Iceland (swimming with dolphins 155 American Dollar with sea lions 80 American Dollar), trucktours, speedboat, city tours and many others offered. Prices are between 50 American Dollar until 160 American Dollar.

We had booked all inclusive and one really had a huge selection of food and beverages in the morning, afternoon and evening (please note the entire theme restaurants!)     As above already mentioned the rooms are large and spacious. We had in the bathroom no tub, but a mega large shower. Hair dryer included. Our bedroom had a tv, and a large table and a closet with sliding doors. The wohnereich consisted of a seating area and terrace. Air conditioning and fan were included in the rooms. The safe cost 2 Dollar on the day. The only which made me a little disturbed, was the easy moderige smell in the rooms, the i think that is why, that the air humidity was very high. Also the clothes very hard to dry, as there is no device that is. Cleaning was absolutely fine.

    About the friendliness of each employee in the hotel you can't complain. It helped, where it only goes. We were on the first day the entire area declared and how everything works. Which was helpful for us. With english one comes genuinly well, we speak good english and it worked well. Who here waiting with german farther to come, the is not far. But one knew that in advance. None required of the staff all spoke to can!

    There was a range, the marketplace, in the evening, without reserve, the buffet food. Every evening there was something different. There was international food. To the there was still about 8 theme restaurants, where you need to reserve, either over the phone or on the guest service at the reception or via a terminal in the two areas. But you can find anywhere information, when the restaurants open, therefore it is sometimes schwieirig a place to get. American food and japanese food cost per person 39 Dollar. The essenbereiche without question clean and hygienic and the waiters were so fast afterwards, if the drinks time threatened somewhat empty to be!

    The hotel is large, as already very often mentioned in other reviews, but they will be helped by 1-2 bimmelbahnen all 15-20 minutes from the front desk to the pool areas and the beach. The drive will be facilitated, by caribbean music. There was a shopping mall, to the hotel one was, but the clothes for example, partly more expensive, than in Germany. In the areas of Tropical and caribe there was ever a small business.

    Both pools in the areas were very clean and large. In the afternoon there was aqua fitness in the water. On the beach you could choreography rehearsed are, your flip flops be created or own straw hats can be made. Some, but few beach chairs at the beach had to be exchanged, since they were broken. Also the construction between the two pools was not nerve slaying. One had not directly then put. Who it makes is your own fault, because the hotel and the beach are so large, that for everyone place is!

I found that the staff was extremely friendly and pleased to make your stay unforgettable, specially Bladimir, who served at the royal service dining area. We stayed in the Royal Service and enjoyed the private pool and beach areas. Food was good, but could be even better. read hotel review

Praise the hotel, the really very nicely decorated/furnished. It consists of a huge park with several ponds. Drove through the area a small shuttle train, the a within 10-20 minutes from lobby/restaurants at the beach or to the room. But that was really the only good thing about the hotel. We were incredibly disappointed with the room. We were on the beautiful photos leave, which one both under melia Tropical looks, as well as under melia caribe & Tropical. But what we get to see, was not even beautiful: the toilet was until the last day outside not cleaned properly ..., so that to end unleckere stains on the toilet. Our great 'junior suite deluxe' had a bathtub, in which one per step a little einsank, just as cheap. The mini bar was not the lacher: only water, Cola and Sprite was there in it, if the cleaning lady was to complete old. 2 even that was not the case. The rooms were large, it was the only great thing. My side of the bed was worn out. Great! Food: You can eat in the different restaurants, the one before to reserve or in the international restaurant. The food was average good - if you stay here always again writes, the food was great - not understand. Around can, you had to a hotline telephone. The first after the check-in was, that the lady at the reception a room upgrade to sell for over 1000 us dollar. The we did not want to. The was also no successful start. Also tried god and the world in this hotel, day by day, hour to hour, the guest something talk. It was more than annoying. Guest structure: At the beginning of 60% from the USA, 35% latin americans and mexicans and a small part of europeans, hardly any russians. The mexicans just realized not to behave.     The size was good, everything else bad. Except: there was ground coffee in the room, the one with the filter coffee maker could. It was great. Otherwise, i would like to actually not speak. Maximum 3 stars but only because of the size. Bathtub felt like plastic, because you always again absackte. Toilet was not cleaned properly etc.. As already mentioned. Air conditioning was so loud, that one could not sleep at night.

    Distance to the airport: maximum 20 minutes Shopping center right around the corner. There are many brands represented. But at the same prices as in Germany. If someone went shopping, then latinos or russians. We went on a trip to Saona made, what really was great. Highly recommended - Bacardi-feeling. Taxi not recommendable, according to other guests, as you here as a tourist in every respect and the bank only get ripped off.

    With german here. With english you mostly further. Room cleaning was okay, but as in the first section described not sufficient, but superficial. Service was poor. Example restaurant reservation: none of the front desk had us really help, although we the problem repeatedly explained. The inernetpreise for the room was not agree: once it was called internet is available and free, a day later it would have 8 Euro cost and again some hours later it had per day 15 Euro cost. Hello? That put a really everything. In some areas of the hotel, the service was good, for example in the avenue bar. The service is never 4 stars worth! Even in 3 star hotels have better experiences. We were more than disappointed. It was terrible.

    Praise the hotel, the really very nicely decorated/furnished. It consists of a huge park with several ponds. Drove through the area a small shuttle train, the a within 10-20 minutes from lobby/restaurants at the beach or to the room. But that was really the only good thing about the hotel. We were incredibly disappointed with the room. We were on the beautiful photos leave, which one both under melia Tropical looks, as well as under melia caribe & Tropical. But what we get to see, was not even beautiful: the toilet was until the last day outside not cleaned properly, so that to end unleckere stains on the toilet. Our great 'junior suite deluxe' had a bathtub, in which one per step a little einsank, just as cheap. The mini bar was not the lacher: only water, Cola and Sprite was there in it, if the cleaning lady was to complete old. 2 even that was not the case. The rooms were large, it was the only great thing. My side of the bed was worn out... Great! Food: You can eat in the different restaurants, the one before to reserve or in the international restaurant. The food was average good - if you stay here always again writes, the food was great - not understand. Around can, you had to a hotline telephone.     Issue food i have already mentioned. In the international restaurant there was basically always the same to the meal. Hardly place to get a good variety. Otherwise one knows the various theme nights, which change daily. Such a thing does not give it here. Thanks to regular guests we came then a week in the genuss the à-la-carte restaurants to try out. The french kitchen knows, the french restaurant. The mediterranean restaurant or fish restaurant was also not the bringer. But the dominican and the italian restaurant! For the restaurants steak & lobster and japanese you had to pay extra. We have steak and it was so good, that you can't put into words can. It was a culinary highlight! Brilliant.

    There are 2 pools, the really the whole hotel to enhance. Literally the pools are great: large, clean and optically simply nice to look at. The swim-up bars are very popular, because simply brilliant. Here is the service, since the beverage desire understood, perfect! The guys are able to work, :-). The beach was no different than for example in Tunisia. Of course, the beautiful palm trees available, but that was it then already. Since we were your own fault, because we didn't know was, that we were on the atlantic side. We thought that would be already caribbean sea, in the you forever and forever inside to go can. Beach was ok to good. The last were here however the pool chairs! We have 75% of the pool chairs in the tonne entered. One brings the pool chair in the a limit value, sits down on the chair and the chair rests again in the highest seating position a. Also were the textilbezogene beach chairs, all worn out. Hello? 4 star superior hotel... What can you say about that. There was entertainment only very slightly but it didn't bother us. The children were, i believe, well cared for in the mini-club.

The hotel is very extensive, so you have long distances in purchase. Unfortunately during our stay there was a large and loud building site between two large pool areas and the beach. We were so the whole day from construction noise, presslufthammern sonicated and had the 'beautiful' view of excavators and lastwagen's. the organizer was from this building site nothing-as we were told. All in all, it was a very loud and unrelaxed holiday read hotel review

    The hotel is a large park surrounded in the bungalows with the rooms, the restaurants, shops, and bars are all located at a central point. The beach and pool areas it was relatively far (house number 21), a trolley takes about 15 minutes to get there. In the immediate vicinity there is a shopping center. We booked our trips through the tour organizers.

    Friendliness, helpfulness were great, the room cleaning was very slow and not very thoroughly. Regarding the foreign languages-you got along with english very well.

    Two of the restaurants we couldn't use it. One was torn down, the other had only drinks. During the day if you want something to eat was therefore a beach restaurant directed or had the long way - approximately 15 to 20 minutes the market place match. In the evening we the à-la-carte restaurants for us, are but the french and the thai restaurant was especially recommendable. Also had the restaurants not all, and not always open.

    The rooms are very spacious, clean, bright and friendly. The furniture is not always in the newest condition. Three days our room was not made, return from the beach to 5:30 p. m..
