• What the hotel offers
  Steeped in history, our hotel and inn are located in the heart of the village of Jenesien. The history of the hotel is closely connected to that of the family. Already our grandparents inherited the hotel from their ancestors. Today, just like in old times, much attention is spent on every detail in the hotel. That’s how our grandparents and parents did it and we’re carrying on that tradition. The family-style interiors as well as the comfort of the hotel rooms result in a relaxed vacation atmosphere for our guests.
• Location
  Our three-star Zum Hirschen hotel and inn are located in a quiet yet central location. From our sunny terrace and the rooms’ balconies you will be able to enjoy enchanting views of the stunning Rosengraten mountain range.
• Food and Drink
  Our traditional South Tyrolean specialties and fine Mediterranean cuisine make for a delicious combination of north and south. What else could a true gourmet want? Seasonal vegetables from local farmers, fresh herbs from our garden and, most of all, homegrown, good quality meat products of which we are particularly proud form the basis of our culinary specialities.
• Leisure
  Haflinger horses are known for their fair manes. However, at the beginning of the last century, coloring did not play an important role in breeding such horses. Haflinger horses came in black, brown, red and lighter colors. It was not until the increased use of the “white maned Sarner horse” that the white maned golden-red type became regarded as the general appearance of the Haflinger horse. Typical for this breed of horses is the medium sized body shape with distinct, harmonic, strong and correct forms in which all body parts are in balance. The horse’s character is well mannered but with an energetic temperament, good moving abilities and a balance between speed and stamina.
