We were positively surprised about this hotel. We had already before about the hotel ask and drove also with light stomach pains. When we arrived we were convinded with the opposite. The hotel is actually not the newest and most modern however therefor there is a friendliness and sympathy welcome. We had booked all inclusive and it was really amazing what the hotel food and drinks offers. Hotel is for German tourists not necessarily suitable, since not even the staff at the reception German has. One German channel is also not available. The food is only on British and french laid out, for a German not have been better. Sausage and cheese for breakfast were not to be recommended. In the dining room were plastic tables and plastic, and very crumpled and partly also dirty and broken table cloths available. The only good thing about the hotel is the location to the beach. Had a queasy feeling, as we the existing reviews have. Were disappointed but on no account. The only complain about what it to '' the breakfast was, is but perhaps also not everyone thing (constantly baguette, beans etc.... typical english/french just). Location
The hotel is located in the tourist area of Benalmadena, only 100 m from a well-known sandy beach, which can easily be reached by means of a footpath. It is just a few minutes' walk to the town centre and its many shopping and entertainment venues. A trip to the to the town of Málaga, 17 km away, is a worthwhile experience, as is an excursion to Torremolinos, 4 km away. The international airport is some 14 km away.
Facilities
Completely renovated in 2006, La Roca is a fully air-conditioned and most pleasing hotel offering a total of 157 rooms. Guests may make use of the spacious foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk, lifts and outside a charming pool and garden area. There is also a games room, a TV room, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant (highchairs for infants are also provided). In addition there is a kids' club as well as a children's play area for younger guests.
Rooms
The tasteful rooms, almost all of them with sea views, come with a complete bathroom, a telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, central heating, mini fridge (fee), hire safe and a balcony or terrace. There are free cots available on request.
Sports/Entertainment
The hotel has an outdoor pool, a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and an indoor swimming pool. Archery, aerobics and various water sports (for an additional fee) may be tried out. There is an entertainment programme to provide some variation. A varied night entertainment program in various languages is offered. The nearest golf course can be found around 2 km away.
Meals
Meals are served in varied and abundant cold and hot buffets, offering show cooking and pasta à la minute.
