Here we have a great beach vacation in September with almost 30 degrees Celsius worn. Very large beach with about 19 degrees Celsius warm Atlantic ocean. Very high waves then leads, also beautiful pool to use. The salt water pool was perfect and one on the free sun loungers direct sea view. The hotel is really a bit older, but very clean. Had room to the side of the road, which unfortunately especially at the weekend was very loud and unfortunately without balcony. The service was great. The portuguese have we in general very friendly met! Therefore also the friendliness of the staff in the hotel with small exceptions!We had only the breakfast booked and that was as written standard! The hotel bar got the charm by the great sunset barThe rooms are big enough. The furnishing is but also old as the hotel and therefore not excessively good and optically not in a good condition. We have a beach vacation in the five star hotel looking forward to it and in the days that concrete block at the parymeile recovered. We were very disappointed. If you would like to sleep calmly, the hotel is definitely the wrong choice. We had a room on the seaside - also here was at night partytime. The room for our son was actually the hallway - was not done!. Room very badly soundproofed. Extremely unpleasant was the fußbodenabfluss in the bathroom, from the permanently after sewage smelled. Unfortunately are the hotel room very badly soundproofed. In the field of Terrassenhotelzimmer penetrated beverage choices to the rooms. Loud it was also at night on the street to.     This popular hotel overlooks the beautiful sandy beach of Praia da Rocha on the western coast of the Algarve. The beach is easily reached down a flight of steps from the hotel. It offers the first hotel casino in Portugal and enjoys a lively setting by the promenade. From here, guests will find an abundance of shops and entertainment venues. The harbour, Marina de Portimão, is only minutes away. Public transport departs from stops directly in front of the hotel and the nearest airport is 65 km from the hotel.

    Situated above the spectacular ocean beach 'Praia da Rocha', the hotel consists of 208 rooms most of which offer full-frontal sea views and balconies, as well as its own casino with live music and international shows. Guests are offered a spacious lobby with lifts, a currency exchange desk, a games room, a cloakroom, a games room, conference facilities with Internet access and a 24-hour reception with a safe. There is also a café, a bar, a shop, a hairdresser's salon, a casino (over-18's only) and a restaurant with a sea view and a non-smoking area.

    The modern, tastefully decorated rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a bathrobe and hairdryer. In addition, all rooms include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, radio, Internet access as well as a minibar, a safe, air conditioning and heating as standard.
