We were thrilled. The location is central. The shops directly in front of the hotel and feels immediately the city. It was our room very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed here in July 2010 and arrived after a not so nice cruise stay, had the outcome of this hotel with the whole family, unfortunately booked online prepaid and when we arrived the tour operator had the your @$$but booking canceled 2 days before. When we got there we were shocked, because we wanted to see it and had no rooms. Top location in the heart of Barcelona, Art Nouveau building renovated its inside and positive atmosphere. Rooms are ok, adequate size, decor rather dark - windows be in need of renovation. Rooms at the back was quiet, but rather dreary Hinterhofblick on parking garage and Häuserfronten. Great kitchen, rich and upscale breakfast buffet - as you miss nothing. Expensive drinks at the hotel's own bar (coke 7 €, beer 7 €, a glass of wine 12 . ) to go a few meters down the street or up - there are many attractive bars and small restaurants. City hotel in the middle of Barcelona. In five minutes walk on Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. Hotel with high elegance in the halls, everything very tasteful. The rooms were somewhat dark, because small room facing the courtyard. Bed with choice of pillows and good mattress. sufficiently large bathroom with bathtub, bidet, toilet, ... Flat screen TV, and minibar. Air conditioner was individually adjustable. Twice daily maid service. Breakfast buffet rich and had a large selection of fresh products.
