The hotel belongs to the Yavapai lodge. There is East and West. The rooms in the east part in comparison to West air conditioning and not only fans. The location is perfect for one or more nights in the Grand Canyon NP. Restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity (2 to 5 minutes on foot depending on location of the room). Behind the hotel is the forest with free-range Hirschen, deer etc. Parking spaces sufficient number available. The breakfast you can in the main building take. Top location! It is walking distance from the Canyon - edge and in the Mather Point. Standard room, Lodge was a bit older. No breakfast incl. parking lot directly in front of the room. … read more

The service was fairly ok. The staff was only at the front desk, the food was self service. The room cleaning was also was just ok. In the hotel there is only one type cafeteria. The quality of the food was so-so. There are almost only Fertigspeisen. The cheeseburger and bacon was sticky and all you can eat bacon schlabberig, which was not very tasty. That make you feel welcome from the atmosphere rather not feel well. The rooms are in standard size. Siebefinden in several houses of wood. Great value and excellent location in the park. Rooms on the first floor are preferable noise and view. Rooms are clean and adequately equipped, if the Focus on the visit to the Grand Canyon. Great steak restaurant in Tusayan. Small shop for food and drinks nearby. … read more
