The staff speaks partly German and English and is very friendly. We had problems with the safe, which taken care of immediately were.In the whole complex there is a 2 restaurants ( one of them is for breakfast and the bookable dinner), and 2 bars. The food was very tasty and furnished to a high standard.In a apartment there are an airco and a tv with 2 German programs ( RTL& ZDF). This already somewhat older hotel is in our opinion not the four stars category. The lower rooms are relatively dark and the sound absorption to the neighboring room, as well as to the upper room is completely insufficient. The shutter was just under loud roar with ' United forces' hoist. Since the rooms from the construction method are very high, the furnishing very Spartan works, will not just as very homely feel. The hotel is a bit away from the centre, but shuttle service (the last bus could leave from loano). Sufficient parking space, dinner and breakfast because of the size of the hotel rather crowded. Breakfast: unfortunately only 'nescafé' with powdered milk from the machines. The hotel is a typical old and down Italian hotel, again and again in the individual Hotel parts were grown. Unfortunately without a sense of the architecture and beauty. The pool was a Glasteil for cooler days-very advanced ugly. The pool deck by the pool is so steep, that you really have to be afraid runterzupurzeln. I have never seen anything like it.     The hotel is located about 1.3 km from the centre of Loano, where guests can find restaurants, bars, clubs, tourist and shopping facilities, and about 1.5 to 2 km away from the railway station, the taxi stand and the tourist harbour. The sea and the beach are about 1.3 km away. Public transport links can be found some 500 m from the hotel. Guests may also be interested in visiting Grotte di Toirano, some 8 km away, the town of Alassio is around 17 km away, San Remo is some 72 km away and the Acquario di Genova (Genoa Aquarium) is around 85 km away.
