Our (father and daughter) top - hotel for the skiing vacation in saas-fee. 2013 was our 5. year du glacier. We were before it in two other hotels, however every time something missing for completely be comfortable. Du glacier was then : great food, great wellness, pleasant staff - here we have (56 and 14) us then really comfortable! And saas-fee is a car-free town, which for me-in particular in the winter - in the meantime a must has become. We have a great week in the hotel had. The staff were more than net and the hotel is very centrally located. Coop and migroß are on the doorstep. Unfortunately reservations (table and taxi) is not working. In the bar we were not at all welcome, at 23:00 o'clock there was still another drink, then the guests left alone, that means the barman was no longer present, the receptionist asked us at 23:30 o'clock to go, since they have to close. Location
This hotel is located in the centre of the car-free village of Saas-Fee. It lies about 20 m from links to the public transport network and guests will find the nearest bars, nightspots and shops around 100 m away. It is roughly 150 m to the River Vispa and 170 m to the nearby woods. The Gorge Alpin and the town's train station are both 200 m away, as is Saas-Fee's tourist centre. It is roughly 250 m to Saas Museum, approximately 400 m to the ski slopes and around 1 km to the cross-country ski run. It is about 20 minutes by public transport to Mattmark Lake and some 26 km to the shops of Visp. It is a similar distance from the Mittelallin and the ice grotto, and the city of Milan is 226 km away.
Facilities
Established in 1901, this family-friendly ski hotel, with a long history of hospitality in Saas-Fee, presents a young and dynamic crew to help guests enjoy their stay. It comprises a total of 41 accommodation units, including 2 singles, 1 suite and 13 apartments. The hotel enjoys wonderful views of the mountain paradise which guests can savour during their glacier breakfast, from the sunny terrace, from the spa area and its sunbathing lawn and of course from the generous hotel rooms, family apartments and suites.
