After a stay in another hotel in Barcelona we also went to this one, as it has a pool. The Catalonia Princesa is now Catalunya Born as a resourceful manager has probably recognized that it is in a neighborhood that has become a trendy district: El Born. That is understandable, the neighborhood is really great and you could go out perfectly. Adjusted to the new, cool name has unfortunately only been the roof terrace with a small but chic pool. The hotel lies in a side street the Arc de triomf, where the metro is given (3 minutes on foot). Vis-à-vis from the hotel entrance there is a comfortable bar, next door is a mini-market. There are only two metro stops to Plaza de Catalunya, where numerous restaurants and shops are. This place is furthermore the famous Ramblas direction port. I was with my son on city trip. We had a very quiet room on the top floor. Room and hotel lived up to our expectations, everything was okay; had no complaints. The hotel is ideally located for both business. Metro, buses, etc. in the immediate vicinity.
