It was a challenge, this hotel in the dark to find, because in the town of st. domenica there was no sign. Without italian knowledge the hidden hotel driveway untraceable defendendo. Finally arrived, had the hotel a nametag, only the imprint on the mat told us, that we were right. Overall the resort was in the outdoor area spacious and well-kept. The beach was extensive and had sufficient beach chairs. The entrance to the sea was however also with bath shoes difficult, since the soil rocky and very uneven is. Our room was clean, but very small. It had no ... seating, but 3 beds! The tv was hanging on the ceiling and was only lying to see. The breakfast (from 8 pm) you had to arrive punctually, since the offer from 8:30 a. m. always less, that is to say, the croissants were all and there was only dry bread. Cereal was always available, but were missing sometimes yogurt or milk. The coffee from the machines was inedible and caused stomach ache. On all days there was a compote from chopped kiwis. The dinner (half board) was generally delicious italian. It consisted of mixed appetizers, a pasta or risotto course and fish or meat without further supplements. For dessert there was even the same kiwis like for breakfast, once green apples and on three successive days the same sticky toffee pudding. End september were still between 20 and 30 guests in the hotel, mostly german couples of mixed ages. There were also some eastern europeans. 4 stars - but not for this hotel! read hotel review

The bathroom was clean, the shower however was already quite worn.

  • Service
    4.0

The service in the dining room spoke only italian and was curt. The cleaning of the rooms was fine.

  • Gastronomy
    3.0

The food looked appetizing and saubergedeckten tables serves.

  • Location
    2.0

The hotel was located below the cliffs directly on the beach. In the immediate vicinity there was only a public beach. St. domenica is in about 20 minutes over a very steep street within walking distance, in september in the evening only by car, as there is no lighting gives.
