We booked over meiers world trips and were grossly disappointed. The vacation has 4000 euros cost and the money not worth. The hotel is maximum 2 stars European level. In the lobby we have 2 rats seen, to the way in the bar and kitchen made. The mattresses were after deducting completely ruined, with edges... I was in this year the 10 time at melia benoa and it was again beautiful. A warm welcome at the hotel, the check-in was always very smooth and very fast, which for a long time to complete is very good, because you are just tired. Me expected a beautiful junior suite on the top floor, lovingly decorated with fresh flowers, everything was very clean. The room was cleaned well every day, also without tip (but i do think every day about 50000 Rupiah on the pillow) The staff was super nice and always friendly, already, if one in the ... morning to the el patio gets you smiling with selamat pagi welcomes. Especially the smile riesma i was particularly pleased, no matter, whether the sun shines or it rains, it has always a friendly smile for. I can only say the service is very good, you get fast the coffee or tea, as well as the cleaning is very fast and very clean. The quality of the food was very good, there was always enough available. Very delicious and always fresh cakes and bread, always fresh squeezed juices and lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. If you want you can every morning a delicious omelet prepared, they are really good, as well as the fresh pancakes. Who here nothing to meals finds is even debt. I also remember the hotel is in Bali and not Europa, you have to assume, the breakfast was international and not typical european. You could eat lunch at the buffet in the menega restaurant or à la carte in the el patio. Also the a la carte is all-inclusive. Since i lunch anyway not much hunger have, will be enough for me since fruits or a soup. In the evening, the dinner either at the beach (weather permitting) or in the el patio instead. There was every evening a different buffet, mostly also with dance, this is particularly nice. Everyone has the possibility to eat a la carte, it is in the all-inclusive package (some courts must, however, with all in blue or silver be paid, but it also however discount gives). The dishes were all in all very delicious and also lovingly decorated. Also with all-inclusive blue in the italian restaurant amarta food. I would highly recommend it to anyone to try, i have this restaurant this time very extensively used. The homemade ravioli, but also saltimbocca or the steaks a dream. Also the apetizers and dessert were amazingly delicious. My compliments to the kitchen. The internet is now for all free of charge, also in the rooms, but it is very slow and will often from, but i am for me to relax and check emails or briefly to skype it was enough. At the reception and always used good service, eka suriani also spoke german, otherwise english was well understood. The entertainment was very discreet, in the evening, including karaoke night, which i very much used. The area has been renewed, only the microphones are not the hit, as if funkmikros probably better. The beautiful is, you will find in the animation always a duettpartner. I have so much already in my last review from november 2011 written. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide, but the service, the friendliness of the staff, i have never seen. For me is the staff my big second Family and Bali my second home. I should also like to mention the new general manager, he is doing a good job and was very friendly, always had an open ear. The title of my evaluation will be many surprise. It is not so, that i next year will come back, the hotel will only be Sol benoa hot. It will not change the overall change, it is probably more likely to be confused with the melia Bali come, which is situated in Nusa Dua is. So you have decided the melia benoa a new name. However, this should not deter, to book this hotel. I wish the hotel a good restart in 2014, i will be back and count the days, until all finally again. At first we were in the lower floor. But after the room was not clean and i not sure felt (the balcony door could one also open from the outside, if these inside was locked), are we on the next day on the top floor was moved. Was a completely different atmosphere. Rooms very clean, but dated. View from the room was outstanding - directly to the lobby (thus we had also always again welanempfang in the room) and in the beautiful garden area. Room number was 8183 (is recommendable! ) We had all-inclusive blue tape - for the food ... but i would only 2 stars it was of course full, but the food was always cold and the selection i had for such a hotel bigger. For breakfast there was for example only two jams in plastikdöschen, an orange and erdbeermarmeldade and honey (the really disgusting from the packaging overthrown) - of course there was sausage, salads and also luke warm meals - maybe we were just too fastidious of the other hotels that we the last years had visited, but after three days we could not see the meal any longer. Then we always a la carte - i would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, a not told, that these food are free - you are starled by, if you the menu and the prices looked. After a few days we experienced, that we almost all food is free! Hotel was otherwise nice, but came into the years. Cleanliness was up on the first room always 1a! The location is a dream! Guests were not many - a couple of weddings were asians celebrated (but only 2 days), otherwise russian, italian, german, spanish and americans in the hotel. read hotel review

    Rooms had average 50 square meter Beds are large and comfortable Air conditioning was not the best, of the first week were a lot of tourists because of the air conditioning ill - germs and co went there for. I almost had pneumonia and strong cough, my daughter had a bad cold, even though we the air conditioning turned off at night and during the day always on circa 25 °c set. There is no toilet brushes! Because we had to also only used ☺ Shower very large - bathroom was clean - toilet took some getting used to, because it was so enormous * laugh and the rinsing button one had also only times to look for. Kettle was always on the rooms, in addition there was coffee or tea to brew up. Mini bar gave it also, but for us was liable to pay the costs, thus we always drinks from the pool bar or the bar in the lobby on s room - no problem! Balcony was rather small, but our room was great, could the demonstrations in the lobby from the balcony, look out. Internet broke quite often - and when it rained nothing at all did not go.

    Friendly were almost all employees - were just with so many people which, the bad mood * lach. With english you definitely got further - some understand english better, some worse... You just have to find out ☺ Room cleaning was excellent. I stayed on the first day the same time 50000 rupiah (about 3,5 Euro) left there and every 2. day 50000 rupiah down, but there was always fresh linens, every day fresh hand and bath towels, flowers on the beds and always a nice word. We saw childcare - i would not make. The child was (as many in the hotel) very afflicted with a cold and the balinese girl is with the small in the heat constantly to the beach and walked the hustende and crying small behind on wheels - on the beach chair you back shortly after over the sand to carry... I would children (generally small) not in such a country. Complaints were immediately taken into account

    Beach was nearly in front of the hotel door Airport about 30 minutes away Shopping was really stressful - the ladies and gentlemen are extremely annoying and we had to twice shoppingversuch all canceled... You can't in peace regard which, the balinese people besiege a and a bangle and co over. Entice you with 1 Dollar and covet 15! Dollar... Best in a larger supermarket and souvenir shop shopping, since one cannot act, but they will not occupied. Streets extremely dirty - had to turn the lights everywhere, as parts of the road were missing - there are holes in the asphalt and dirt, dirt and again dirt in all corners and ends. Taxi there was tons - but the best take the light blue ' tacksis' - with its bright bird - the without exception with taximeter and you won't be ripped off.

    3 restaurants - but only 2 visited. I would the food rather in a 2 star hotel to assume. One becomes full, but us it did not taste at all. Afterwards only à la carte dinner, after we in the first week every 3 kilos of weights had... Perhaps we have been too spoiled, but we had the food not taste good at all. Everything was clean This did not bother me, was the cold plates in the floor areas - was not so hygienic. We tipped always only very nice staff - especially the 21 - year-old rishma was so a dear person.

    There was animation, these people but not at all noticed. On a board every day you could see, when and what is offered. But we have not used. The pool was very, very clean There is a games room, but unfortunately only always around 16 hours open - so when it rains and bad weather one must look, what you do. But there were two billiard tables and a dart board. At the top of the hotel there were loads of books, which one can do itself check-out counters. Beach chairs, umbrellas and co, there was sufficient and one must for anything reserve... But even here there were some guests, the already in the morning to the beach broken and your towels for hours deposited, but then the half day did not come. We have always beach chairs and umbrellas available, no matter when we went to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas but a lot to be desired - very remote and dirty - were partly also already quite damaged. Showers i have only 2. week found... Are little hidden behind the beach restaurant.

Very, very great all inclusive hotel Bali. We spent our honeymoon there. The two à la carte restaurants are really great, we were nearly each evening in the amarta. The beach was very beautiful, the pool as well. The hotel is not really big, the pool was even greater, Staff very friendly and accomodating. If the long flight would not be, we would anytime again in this hotel. read hotel review
