The hotel we had booked as start and destination found. Since we only stayed in the Uman therefore, we can evaluate every area of the hotel. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip this hotel was one of the best. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The staff spoke very good English and is efficient and friendly. We had no complaints in this regard. Breakfast buffet was not overwhelming, but ok. The river Ume has given its name to the Clarion Collection Uman, which is centrally located on Storgatan in Umea. This old medical officers villa, which constitutes the main building, has been the inspiration for the hotel's theme. The long and adventurous medical service in a remote and sparsely populated wilderness. Complimentary evening buffet meal from 6pm and 10pm and complimentary afternoon coffee and tea with waffles. Free access to sauna and relax department with free beer in the sauna. Also big, complimentary breakfast buffet included in room rate. Children 12 and under stay free if sharing room with parents or grandparents when no extra bedding is required. 100% smoke free hotel. Pet charge: 200 kr per stay.
