Hotel Diani Reef Beach Resort^{(4.5 stars)}

We stayed in diani reef resort January 2012 twice. 4 days once, then 7 days and then again 11 days in the beach hotel Diane reef. the hotel is located direct at the beautiful sand beach it is more or less in the mountain (reef) built. Architecturally very appealing. The various bars were clean and you can everywhere the drinks or the additional meals on the room bill, without always cash we have to take. The prices for the drinks our opinion are quite high( beer 350 = KSHS about 1 euro, Sprite 1.80 euro = kshs 200). Mini bar is also in the room; the prices in the whole area the same. at the entrance the hotel is located a small supermarket, in the drinks for the room stock. the rooms are nicely furnished and regularly thorough cleaned. The bathroom is equipped with bathtub equipped. TV is also available, this however did not use, since anyway only German wave is to be received. the food is very good and very varied. It is served each Tuesday by the pool and on a Friday the beach serves. Really great. Every evening, the food( meat and fish) freshly prepared (show cooking). all together the hotel very appealing. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Especially we could emphasize the restaurant really very good food. the recently released negative reviews we can only partly understand, lots of things are quite excessive, as shown. the beach boys are half as wild. A short conversation, a clear 'no' and then you had your peace. TIP: in the larger shopping centers at the street you will find mostly significantly cheaper and quality better Souvenirs. Here, too, bargaining is announced. More than 25-only 30% of these price you shouldn't pay, as the locals start ridiculously high; this is with a corresponding ridiculously low offer in return-You are right in the middle of the action. …read more
