Hotel Diani Reef Beach Resort^{(4.5 stars)}

It was the third stay in this hotel. In the basic things I refer to my review from February. We had after the great stay in February 2011 determined, that we to this hotel again return, especially for the period after safari a good offer for the suite was. For the period before safari we had a deluxe room booked, got there but they gave us a free upgrade. Most of the staff are still there, but there is a new general manager. Okay, who the old not to become acquainted with were allowed, for, not so much has changed. Who however the warm and outgoing nature of the previous manager with his contagious happiness knew, the notices, that now something was missing. The new management is rather reserved and searches definitely not the contact to the guests, which not always an advantage is. You can tell, that in comparison to earlier many areas saved. It was just so, that you with the time some comparison possibilities and if some hotels not soon come up with something, they are behind the growing competition remain. As mentioned, we missed the warm atmosphere last stay a bit, but the remaining employees, the US knew, very much effort. The food was good, even if the offer both of the choice, as well as the quality in February were better. Nevertheless the standard is still good. It should stop some things completely renovated or exchanged. Especially the terrace the beach is actually in the meantime a hazard- as well as several rusty nails in the wooden bridges.
