The 20 May to 4. June 2012 I was on 4. times in the Secrets royal beach Punta Cana. As I had already three reviews for this hotel caffaro and my positive overall impression not changed, I shall confine myself here essentially on the changes since July 2011. Here a small collection : Narrow room divider (circa 60 centimeters deep) between bedroom and living area indented. New, massive ceiling fans with large rotorblättern. - new. 30 centimeters thick mattresses ( only in swim-ups and ocean views?) - Pillow menu with several pillows to choose from (without extra charge) New clock radio with Docking station iPod/ Iphone. - DVD Player (US-Norm) and free DVDs (English ) Decoration -element with sparklers and match sticks. Weiße Secrets-bathrobes and slippers. - of high quality Bath implements kit Gilchrist & Soams, in the swim-ups and ocean views even with suntan creams ( LSF 15 ) Bathroom Scales in the bathroom. - mini bar a small can of Pringles extended (millimeter delicious!) - Bottle of champagne on arrival (only for return visitors?) - Sash with inscription 'welcome back' on the door (for return visitors ) Extensive hotelinfomappe with stationery and envelopes. - new spa with gym and beauty parlor opened (much bigger, make good impression) Dark brown, fluffy beach towels. Rückgabebehälter for beach towels in various locations. - Promotion Stand at the beach with pineapple and coconuts were not offered (only at higher utilization?) New place to sit ( tables and chairs ) at the beach next to the barbecue area. Blue foam material mats, with whom you have the pool float can. When entering the restaurants you must now give the room number. - Hammocks on the pool were removed (a shame ) It is at the point now four tables with stools in the water. I really liked a lot: on some evenings, the steak house was closed and instead - without extra charge - a barbeque at the beach offered. I had a swim up suite and me a as beachfront rooms in the left wing of the building ( Cielo Azul building) requested. With the room 4168 was my wish also perfectly. The beachside swim-ups have unfortunately only a very narrow spaces for sunbeds, now already from 14 o'clock completely in the shade lag. Another drawback: by close proximity to swim-up-bar you get from 3:30 P. M. the whole noise from fully with. The best swim-ups are in my view the rooms 4138-4146 this are equipped with much larger terraces and one has until the late afternoon sun. Otherwise it is gorgeously quiet. A private air mattress you need basically not bring us, because the hotel now Floaties systemless. These are actually in sufficient numbers available, there are certainly 50 piece ready. But tourists are known to be hunter and collector. Therefore it is with the Floaties as with the beach chairs: many reserve in the morning your personal copy and the whole day not again. The mats then on the own terrace the jacuzzi is hidden or even with at the beach -main thing, no other can this benefit. Incredibly... Altogether the hotel was end of May / beginning June more than 50 per cent busy. Accordingly quiet and relaxed it was in the restaurants to:no queues, no wait... Similar picture at the beach: Always plenty of loungers free, no stress with reservations... Also the weather general: 12 days wonderful sun and 2 a bit cloudy days, it rained only on the first two nights, both at midnight. Largest plus point the SRBs is this really really nice and well trained staff. Everywhere with a friendly smile welcomes. Whether at the beach or by the pool: a drink service is omnipresent. Only one thing we must not make: no drinks order. The take girls in other words personal... ;-) in other reviews raised Trinkgeldthematik, I can not confirm. It is perfectly no matter wether you give a tip or not, you will always served in a friendly manner. Something however not against speaks, the hotel employees and something to give. Good service should also be rewarded... If I go in the SRBs vacations would? Clear, anytime again! … read hotel review
