Hotel Gamboa Rainforest Resort^{(4 stars)}

The hotel was a dream for us! For lovers of nature and animal lovers is perfect. It is located on the Chagres-river in the middle of the rain forest. There is nothing around. Built and equipped it was in the colonial style. The rooms are large and have a balcony with a view of the garden and the river. From the balcony in the hammock one can Capibaras, rodents, Amazons, ... watch. The hotel has several restaurants, but during our stay, only one was open. We were about a ten -15 more tourists in the hotel, since it was low season. Varied and delicious breakfast. You could have breakfast at ter views on the balcony. In the evening we ordered from the menu. The pool is large and very nicely designed. Towels are free of charge. Free is the evening game drive in English, then in Spanish. Unfortunately we saw no animals, because of the trucks was too loud. There is a souvenir shop, the rates are okay. The Internet is expensive. 15 minutes you paid for two, $50.
