Official description for the Hotel Airas Nunes

Set in the historic centre of Santiago, just a few metres away from the Cathedral, this friendly hotel is located in the outbuildings of a XVII Century house, totally restored with all the charm of years gone by. From the windows of some of its rooms, memorable views of the Cathedral and the monumental Compostelan city can be enjoyed, blended with the sound of the footsteps of the countless pilgrims who have been coming to Santiago de Compostela al through the centurys.

The hotel was opened in July 2002. The philosophy of the city of Santiago de Compostela is to sympathetically refurbish the historic buildings in the city centre. The hotel was renovated with this philosophy in mind and now offers comfortable accommodation and modern facilities that have been sensitively integrated into this fascinating old building.
