Official description for the Hotel Leon

Built around the Balneario de Archena spa, this hotel offers a range of services which take advantage of the healing properties of the natural thermal waters. The Hotel León is located beside the Archana Spa, 2 km outside of the village of the same name in the region of Murcia. Its greatest attraction is its therapeutic waters – some of the best known in Spain – and its privileged position not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Relax with some of the most innovative health and beauty treatments, as well as in the 8,000 m² pool centre. Here you will find a wealth of features benefitting from the spa waters, including waterfalls, counter-current pools, hydromassage features and jacuzzis. There is even a special pool with water jets and slides for children. Set beside the River Segura in the Ricote Valley, the local area is a green oasis in the south of Spain. The crystal-clear thermal waters in the spa bubble up at a temperature of 51.5 degrees Celsius and are known for their beneficial mineral properties. These waters are used in a variety of ways to help you relax and rejuvenate, in particular with regards to neck and back treatments.
