Official description for the Hotel Orientale

Located 100 metres from the central station, this hotel is housed in the royal apartments of the Filangeri Palace of the Prince of Cutò; a rare example of 1700s Sicilian architecture. Completely restored, the hotel still conserves today its stunning, original ceiling mural. The hotel is ideally positioned in the historical centre of the old city, a few yards from the most important monuments, including the famous theatre Massimo; a unique example of Sicilian architecture.
