We stayed in the new part of the Edda and with our large room (including kitchenette) in the highest floor very satisfied.

The hotel is one of the larger Edda hotels.
The rooms, at least in the new building, were very spacious.
The breakfast room is a long narrow 'hose'.
If large groups food, it is quite a crowd.

Was just passing through to Akureyi. It has very nice cafes, restaurant, but probably really only a transit destination. Therefore it is not much more write here. Read more

In winter a Gymnasium, in the summer a super nice and comfortable hotel. Large room, large bathroom enough parking spaces. Modern and nicest superb view. Read more
