Airport Birches Motel

The renovated not too long ago hotel is located directly across from the Pearson International Airport. The 419 guestrooms are on up to 11 floors. Of cleanliness in the room and could not be faulted. When booking with Dertour included a complimentary continental breakfast, but due to our departure 08.40 hours unfortunately couldn't use. Further there is a shuttle to and from the airport included. The Inn is about 250 meters from the underground station having clay/tone CROSS distant for juries. It seems to be rather new. There were floors 7 (are not completely safe me), therefore also many clean, modern furnished rooms. Among the guests much flight crew and people with connection flights, were in addition, city tourists, like we. The Hotel is NEW and owned and operated by a local young Optometrist who speaks excellent english and will go out of his way to make sure your stay is the finest. The rooms are western style, large, clean, nice bedding, great location to walk to many of the tourist sites and the hotel staff will treat you like family. Taupo for us was the high point of the North Island and we regret it, only one day there to have remained. The ambleside is located above the lake, and it has a dreamlike view. Pat and soot take a very warm welcome and have a room in the extra class. The breakfast there is and then you can better than at home feel.
