The Alexander Hotel is quite plain on the exterior, inside but surprised with state-of-the-art new furniture and very nice staff at front desk, bar and in the restaurant. The wellness area is beautiful with a view of Lake Lucerne and the mountains. The food (half board) in the restaurant for 55 Swiss franc (about 37 Euro) per day and person it is absolutely worth it. Very nice hotel right on the lake located, comfortable hotel. We had a 6-beds-suite for five persons. We really enjoyed the hotel, only the small single bathroom seems to us under dimensioned. qualitatively advanced Wellness zone for adults. The indoor pool is rather small and offers for smaller children not much, the outdoor pool was not in operation without notice. excellent kitchen with a small, but fine menu offer, matching wines.
