The Alpine Karavanserai represents a completely new hotel experience. It combines authentic Alpine hospitality with a concept of modern accommodation while simultaneously focusing on inner balance - inspired by an Eastern holistic approach to body and spirit.

Hotel location
The Alpine Karavanserai enjoys a quiet, sunny location in the center of Hinterglemm, in the state of Salzburg. And the local cable car is just a stone´s throw away. Once you have arrived at the hotel, there´s no need for an automobile because everything is within a short walking distance.

In fact, it takes just one or two minutes to walk to the Reiterkogelbahn cable car and the Bergfried lift, which provide you entry to the Ski Circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang – with more than 200 km of pistes and 55 lifts that climb up to 2,100 m.

And best of all, the lifts are running also during the Summer, making long walks and hikes possible! There are 400 km of clearly marked paths just waiting to be discovered – not only for walking, but also for the mountain bike!
