It is a very friendly family hotel. You immediately felt comfortable. The rooms are clean and appropriately furnished. The food is great and varied. The small pool in the basement, where one in the summer after the hikes like cools.
The destinations in the surrounding area are a dream for hiking. The Jenner and the Kehl are definitely worth a visit. For the königsee should you plan a day, since at each of two stops plentiful hiking trails to the most beautiful places are available. We highly recommend the Fischunkelalm and Eisbach at St. Bart. The hotel has a great location, it has a very beautiful view of the mountains. The room was spacious and clean. The entire hotel is still a bit old fashioned, but actually nice and good fit. Except for the carpet in the room, that was not so great. At breakfast, there were different, fresh rolls and a lot of choice of meats, cheese, jam, etc. We would definitely stay there again! Fortunately we had only booked 2 nights through!
it looks old, smells old, it is dark and the beds smell!
the sanitary facilities in the house and the bathroom in the room are original from the seventies or completely maybe even Six Ziger. Brown/Green greets cowpat optics in.
the kitchen is poor. Not even defftig; just bad.
during breakfast we were we given the choice :'either the bill now pay or otherwise we must wait, because of the Maria front desk now up!' Basta. So then we betray the breakfast and nothing like away. Unbelievable!

The hotel is in very "folk" style, lots of wood, cosy fireplace, the girls that served us had folk costumes and I loved it! The rooms are kept in "Alp" style as well, it creates great atmosphere you wanna get when you go to mountains in Alps!
I just loved the touch of local architecture as it gives the place a soul!
