Alreday the location of our hotel means easiness: near enough to the teleferic you can reach by car in only a few minutes – and even the skibus stops across from our door. On the other hand far enough to enjoy your stay in delightful silence.

Hotel location
The valley of Tux guarantees lots of recreation from everyday life. The guests have various possibilities - for everyone´s taste, for every age, at any time of the year. uo As a branch of the `Zillertal` the `Tuxertal` climbs on over 13 kilometers up to 1.500m height. At it´s end the villages `Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit und Hintertux` wait to be discovered by our guests – perfect as starting points for your holiday activities.
The valley of Tux has more inhabitants than the other parts of the `Zillertal`, because of the positive climatic conditions. The valley of Tux also is the natural border between two kinds of native rocks which gives a certain glance to both sides of the valley. Due to these circumstances both, friends of mountain hiking and alpine mountaineerung will find great conditions.
Our house is situated in Madseit, a small village close to Hintertux and to the glacier skiing and hiking area.
Without exagerating the `Zillertal World 3000` belongs to most attractive places Tirol offers. Nearly no other glacier offers a wider range of varieties. It´s connected skiing resorts along the mountainside offer 220 kilometers of slopes for skiing, carving and snowboarding. For guests who prefer freeriding and offpiste activities the region offeres lots of possibilities for guided tours beyond 3.000m. Gorgeous panorama view included.
Fresh air and a deep blue sky – a lot of signed hiking trails lead you to crystal clear waterfalls and mountain lakes, onto rough summits and to guest cottages along the ways. The ones who love a little adveture could visit the `Spannagelhöhle` with it´s unique history on half way – one of our numerous nature phenomenons. Leave your car at our place, the region is explored best by hiking or mountainbiking.

Our restaurant „Alte Hütte“ carries it´s name furthermore, because it has become a brandmark for delicious quality. Above all our game and lamb specialities are well known even beyound the valley.
With a rich breakfast buffet the day starts off. In the afternoon we offer an excellent traditional snack and the evening is filled with delicious meals and selected wines. Especially for wines we do have the “right touch”, as our guests say.
Moreover we offer also culinary theme highlights, for example Fondue evenings, soup- and noodle buffets, dessert buffets, barbecue evenings and so on…
Gastronomy in the hotel
If you are staying on half-board basis you can expect:
* a breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, joghurt,cereals, bio-corner, bacon, cheese, tea
buffet and freshly prepared eggs
* an afternoon snack buffet includes soups, snacks, homemade cakes and pastries
* three different menus (also for vegetarians) and you can serve yourself from our
popular salad bar
Moreover we offer also culinary theme highlights, for example Fondue evenings, soup- and noodle buffets, dessert buffets, barbecue evenings and so on…
Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Our experience sauna of approximately 220m² has installed a finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a sole steam bath, a infrared heating cabine, a new solarium, wonderful experience showers, a comfortable relaxation room with view to the glacier, a new relaxation room with water beds and a traditional log cabin cold room with an outside area.
There is also a nice á-la-carte restaurant with a stylish hotel bar. The lounge is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests, with satellite TV and premier sport programs. The ski basement has been modernised with a lockable ski-storage system and new ski shoe drying facilities.
After our renovation our hotel offer you also a children´s play room and a fitness studio.

The comfortable double rooms "L" - for 2-3 persons (about 35m²)
are equipped with bathroom (shower and/or tub), hairdryer, bath coats with slippers, toilet extra, sleeping room with double bed, radio, SAT-TV (Flat-TV with 18 programs, glacier panorama program), Wireless-LAN connection, safe, telephone and balcony.
