Very beautiful hotel in the middle in the old town from Wernigerode. To the hotel also includes the restaurant ' Kartoffelhaus ', where you the food also highly recommend! Apart from that various other restaurants and options for shopping within a few minutes walking distance.
Absolute A must is, of course, a visit to the boulders!
All together is Wernigerode and especially this hotel for a weekend getaway very recommendable! Read more

We only stayed one night there, therefore only a short assessment, very central location (hundred meters to the town hall). Wernigerode is a beautiful city and resin as a base for excursions in the Harz recommended. We wanted the fist on the Brocken, very nice, but very strenuous.
