The Antwerp diamond hotel has its best times behind itself long ago. The rooms are quite shabby, already from the outside the hotel looks rather shabby. The neighborhood, which is, unfortunately also exactly the same from.
The location was Central, close to the central train station (wonderful!) and the walk to the old town is reachable on foot in about 20 minutes easy to reach. On the main road between train station and old town are plenty of restaurants.

It was in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood where there were many people out on the street even into the late night making the neighborhood feel very safe especially being so close to the train station.
