Budget two star hotel in immediate Proximity to the train station. One is in five minutes walk to the large shopping mall ' halles' time and in ten minutes in the old city. For a long stay especially in the week I can't recommend it, because it is often of school used and it is also corresponding noisy.
Similarly, from a stay of more than one week the room every seven days cleaned. It is really not good former, since the room has a kitchenette (which was very positive) but only one small trash can. Read more

Whoever in Strasbourg a double room for under 50 euros per night, is served in the hotel Viktoria Garden. The hotel is close to the railway station, from the tram stop you would walk around 10 minutes. At the reception, they only English and French are spoken. The buffet breakfast can be for 7 euros per person, is not very extensive, so it's more is worth a café or to visit a local bakery. If you arrive by car, will pay for parking 8 euros a day. The water heater was not centralized, each room (at least my room) has it's own heater, which causes the hot water to be insufficient to be used by 4 person to take a hot shower subsequently (I stayed at a 4 people room), we had to wait until the water tank is filled again after a while.
