During a biology fieldtrip with the university we had the privilege to reside in this hotel. We had a beautiful hotel room, perfect beds, astonishing hallway with palmtrees and best of all a jacuzzi to our needs. In the village outside the hotel you softly hear the treefrogs at night, together with the perfect weather, the pure nature, delicious breakfast and characteristic setting, this hotel is good for the biologist amongst us, but i could definitly also recommend it to the romantic couples, travellers and all other Tenerife visitors. The room was small, but contains everything we needed. The number of pots and pans could be better, though.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a room at the roadside, with the view on the sea. However, we decided to prefer the quietness above the view. We were quickly helped to a new room, without any questions. As we were there on Easter we had some questions on the possibilities to buy food in the various shops around. We were helped very friendly. They even checked for us, if the mall in Puerto was open.

I highly recommend to choose Estrella del Norte as your peace harbor. Hotel is superb not only by its excellent condition and staff friendliness, but also by its location. Hotel is located far away from touristy places, partly in the mountainy area with the ocean view, but as long as you have a car, all main sightseens are at your fingertips. Read more

We had a great stay, jacuzzi, sauna and a wonderful roof terrace complete the whole. We were every day on the way we were looking forward but always on our' at home' the room ( we had 50 meters² with a view of the sea and balcony) was enormous for 2 people but very comfortable.
