the hotel lies very centrally located in immediate the train station-so maybe not the greatest direct Surrounding area. On the other hand you both on foot, as well as with the tram quickly to all interesting, even the exhibition hall is in tight ten minute walk. I had a double room for single use- very spacious and reasonable equipped. Bathroom big enough and sufficient land for storage space and closets. Everything very clean. Very clean four star hotel in a good location.
No complaints. Despite quiet location, big, clean.
There is the major minus: Sunday we wanted to 09:30 A. M. for breakfast, but the room was so overcrowded, we could go back out. Having regard to about 10 minutes people were and we could dazusetzen at a table. To the old crockery was cleared from the table, it took 10 minutes back easily.

ideal city hotel for train traveler and Erfurt-explorers. All sights are easy to reach on foot, and there's the Erfurt-card at the front desk for 12,00 euros. It includes free travel pass for all public transport for 48 hours and various discounts). Rooms to inner courtyard are highly recommended, since before the hotel runs an aerial tramway. A Best Western hotel chains-standard 'solid' and is a good starting point for a city break.
Short walk in 10-15 minutes walk from the town center with many attractions and restaurants.
Our room seemed a bit 'dated' , and on the streets (train) unfortunately page. The street is quite busy and the train runs on the weekends until late into the night.
With the windows closed, the noise level was still Okay, then it is very hot in the room.
The breakfast had enough choice, partly also local specialties; quality sound-no more, no less.

The best Western Hotel Excelsior four stars hotel is very centrally located, city and close to train station (without train noise). From the outside it looks rather plain, but inside convinced therefor it refined atmosphere with comfort. We were a couple with a hotel credit for two overnight accommodation with breakfast with car arrived. To our surprise we were happy in a luxurious three-dimensional very spacious, a bit shabby two room suite with a bathtub and September. Toilet room. The rooms were clean, but not dust-free.
