The location of the hotel is in many respects ideal. The bus station is in front of the door. For the DC keep the 'hop off/hop on' -buses also near the hotel. The hotel was located directly on a busy street (lot) in Vancouver/downtown, so it is important for a comfortable stay, what room you get.
We were given a room with view to the backyard (parking) so we also due to the old, thin windows slices of quiet sleep-so we had luck.

The hotel does not look very nice. The inside is typical CANADIAN. With a lot of wood and reflective. The rooms are pleasantly large and very clean. The toilet was perfectly clean. The mattresses were good and we had a good night's sleep.

The hotel is located a few steps from the English Bay - where you sit with the locals on tree-trunk tables and watching the sunset. The buses run right at the door and also the selection of the restaurant nearby is very large. You can walk from the hotel to explore the Vancouver and if you get a room without breakfast - no problem a Tim Hortens is just across the road. My room was very large and clean.
