We are in favor of a short get away after volendam dangers for the flair to enjoy themselves, which many of our friends have described. From the hotel it is well worth a visit on the island of Marken, as well as a stroll through the picturesque streets. Also nearby is Edam/Edam:-)zaanse-Schans and with the famous Dutch windmills. It is in all the places very good opportunities for shopping, as well as many cozy cafes. Great hotel in the centre of volendam, very historic and originally. Service is dressed in typical clothes from the region! In the surrounding area is much to discover, such as visit cheese museum/farm, excursions to trademarks with a ship... we have enjoyed our stay very much. amsterdam is only 20 minutes by the way. from volendam!
