Everything was okay, but not cheap. We wanted to stay in the Mesa Verde National park. Therefor we had booked two nights in a double room for 177 $including & tax. At the check-in, friendly and nice, for the possibility of a microwave asked, we were booked for 20 $per day to a suite more. Living room with flat screen tv and a small kitchen. Bedroom with tv tube. But everything was extremely clean. Clearly it has the atmosphere of a garage but it was okay. Wal-Mart, safe way and city market all close. Mesa Verde 10 miles away. The hotel is situated on a main road in Cortez. It is a 2 story property with the outside distant hallway and about 80 rooms. The property was very clean and well maintained. Included in the price was a continental breakfast.
The room was typically American decorated (TV, air conditioning, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board). There were, however very narrow window so that it felt in the but very dark. The room itself was clean and big enough.

If you are willing to do lots of paying for a rude service at the front desk, this is the place to go. Large Platzansprüche allowed to your room is not possible. And if everything works out every day, you don't have to stick your door card reprogramed. The attractive location near the Mesa Verde National Park is certainly less ridiculously priced than nice.
