Through the very central location on the leading it is quite noisy at night (trams, buses and trains are with the window open on the train station side clearly heard).
The check-in was a bit slow (we went with a large group of about 40 people arrived).
My room was ready at 5:00 P.M..
Otherwise was the hotel for a business stay thoroughly recommended, since the direct access to the train station without shuttle is very convenient. Read more

super centrally located hotel next to the train station, but still quiet. Super nice, clean rooms with a large bathroom, double sinks and NESPRESSO coffee machine. Very friendly staff and very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Really recommendable, as well as Seminar Hotel. Read more

The best Western walhalla is very centrally located in St. Gallen directly at the train station. I stayed here for a night room. After a arduous journey from Munich (by train) I was greeted very nicely at the hotel. My room was facing the train station side. With the windows closed we heard nothing. Only when I have opened the windows for some fresh air, was the noise from the street. The room was quite well equipped. Reserved but unfortunately the mattress of the bed quite worn before. Before I went to Munich on, I have stayed at this hotel. The room on the top floor was nice, and practically equipped. I have seen several other hotels in the East Switzerland and also in St. Gallen. Therefore I cannot recommend this hotel with a clear conscience and very high satisfaction in the best way. Even if the rooms not to my taste and presentation of corresponding interior fittings.
